7 jobs you can find in artificial intelligence

The prevailing wisdom, it seems, is that artificial intelligence is a job stealer, which will make certain occupations no longer viable. While it would be naive to think there will be none of this, AI also has the potential to create new careers and jobs.

While it has been a target and, well, accurate at times, we still have to consider that artificial intelligence and its future iterations are here, whether we like it or not.

That said, I'm OK with it, despite being a writer and seeing so many AI-based programs like Google Bard and Chat GPT.

But, for today, let's take a look at seven good jobs within the AI field that you can start working toward now.

Artificial intelligence job #1: Machine learning engineer. Machine learning engineers develop and deploy machine learning models. They use their knowledge of statistics, mathematics, and computer science to create models that can learn from data and make predictions.

Artificial intelligence job #2: Data scientist. Data scientists collect, clean, and analyze data. They use their skills in statistics, machine learning, and programming to extract insights from data and make recommendations.

Artificial intelligence job #3: AI research scientist. AI research scientists conduct research on new AI algorithms and technologies. They publish their findings in academic journals and conferences, and they work with engineers and product managers to bring new AI products to market.

Artificial intelligence job #4: UX designer. UX designers create user interfaces for AI products. They use their skills in graphic design, human-computer interaction, and psychology to create interfaces that are easy to use and understand.

Artificial intelligence job #5: Robotics engineer. Robotics engineers design, build, and test robots. They use their knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science to create robots that can perform tasks autonomously.

Artificial intelligence job #6: AI ethicist. AI ethicists study the ethical implications of AI. They develop guidelines for the responsible development and use of AI, and they work with businesses and governments to ensure that AI is used in a way that is beneficial to society.

Artificial intelligence job #7: Business intelligence developer. Business intelligence developers create and manage BI solutions. They use their skills in data mining, statistical analysis, and visualization to help businesses make better decisions.

Artificial intelligence has emerged at the perfect time, as its evolution lends itself to contributing to so many new technologies. Above, are just a few of the many good jobs that people can find within the AI field. The demand for AI talent is growing rapidly, so there are many opportunities for people who are interested in pursuing a career in AI.

Here are some additional tips for finding a good job in AI:

  • Get a good education. Most artificial intelligence jobs require a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Gain experience. There are many ways to gain experience in AI, such as internships, hackathons, and personal projects.
  • Network with people in the field. Attend industry events, connect with people on LinkedIn, and reach out to people who are already working in AI.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends. The field of AI is constantly evolving, so it's important to stay up-to-date on the latest trends. Read industry publications, attend conferences, and take online courses.

With hard work and dedication, you can still find a good job in the exciting field of AI.
