302 Interactive at the 2019 Game Developers Conference
May 27, 2019

This year we had the amazing opportunity to go to the 2019  Game Developers Conference  (GDC) with a few of our employees. If you’re not familiar with GDC, it’s the world’s largest professional game industry event. The conference brings together 28,000 attendees from all over the world to share their work, job hunt, network, and gather inspiration. Attendees vary from various professions, such as programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals, business decision-makers, and other roles involved in the development of games and immersive experiences. The conference offers workshops, speaking panels, roundtable discussions, networking events, exhibitions, and more!
We participated in several fun events which were a major highlight of the trip. We also got the chance to talk to various companies to speak about 302 Interactive and what we do. We attended the Women in Gaming Rally,  Independent Game Festival  and  Game Developers Choice Awards IASIG at Sennheiser Carousel Con , and the  G.A.N.G.  Awards!
At the Women in Gaming Rally, we shared our thoughts on how we would create change in games by writing on a card and placing it on trees on the Ubisoft Wall.

We saw our favorite games and friends get awards at the  IGF Festival and GDCA’s.

After GDC, we took the time to relax and enjoy the San Francisco weather with a visit to the Japanese Tea Garden, an antique arcade, and a winery in Sonoma!

We have a saying that we use to describe our approach: “Games for everything else.” Using the principles and practices of game design and interactive media design for a variety of industries, we’ve worked in a variety of fields such as amusement parks, simulation, experiential marketing, and healthcare to list a few. If you ever need assistance, feel free to reach out to us on our  contact page ! The team had a blast this year and we’re looking forward to next year’s Game Developer Conference! Maybe we’ll see you there.
